The average price for residential solar lease/PPAs in California in June declined 6.3% to $4.95/Watt versus $5.28 in June of 2015. Lease/PPA prices have been below $5.00 for the last three months. Prices for purchases were approximately flat year-over-year.

Riverside County had the lowest lease/PPA price at $4.83 and Solano County had the highest at $5.39.
This analysis was based on data from the California Solar Initiative using the Net Energy Metering Interconnection dataset and the App Approved date. This accounts for an estimated 85% of all installations in California.
